The LEC stage has always been one for unexpected comebacks, and Team Heretics is rising to the occasion. With 3 clean wins over the past two weeks, the boys are so far enjoying their summer split. And despite focusing a lot on the shots at times, they have so far taken the lead in Bo1’s. With a lot of factors to consider as they tackle the massive KOI top that carries Szygenda, many will be eyes on the TH botlane duo to see if they can make up any shortfalls.

KOI

If KOI fans know anything, it’s that perseverance is key in the long run. However, KOI’s playmaking on the Rift wasn’t as strong as it was in previous splits. Some innovations may be warranted before you reach the middle of the regular season. However, the purple team’s probability of winning always goes up as they find their footing and start playing consistently. So if there was a summer underdog, it would be KOI.

KOI vs. Heretics Team Predictions

Not a whole lot of history to look at between the heavy hitters this year due to TH being dumped early in the 2nd straight division. In this case, we can only compare the KOI peak in the spring batches to the sudden burst of TH vitality in the regular season, and all signs point to another TH victory. Granted, 3 bo1 stage wins isn’t much to brag about, but KOI’s recent lack of map awareness has become easy to exploit.
