Team Deathmatch in Valorant: maps, rules, release date

Team Deathmatch (TDM) is coming to Valroant as part of the Season 7 Update as a permanent game mode for you to enjoy. Maxbot, a cleaning robot featured in the WARM UP cinematic episode 4, is shot, smashed, cooped up, and plummeted back into a glorious void. Due to the humiliation and resentment he faced, the droid chose to teleport to Valorant and redirected the agents to his alien machine where they were forced to fight. This is the basic idea behind creating Team Deathmatch and the fans love it. Here’s a quick rundown of everything you need to know about Team Deathmatch in Valorant including new maps, rules and release date.

Team Deathmatch Valorant maps

When Team Deathmatch arrives in Valorant, we’ll get three custom maps built just for the new game mode.

• Area: A map with a long sniper alley on one side and a horseshoe shaped building on the other side that can be used to control the middle.

• PIAZZA: A map with a relatively open middle overlooked by sniper nests, each nest can be flanked by huts on either side.

• Casbah: A map in the form of an arena with many connections to the middle of the map, which contains most of the resources.

According to Valorant game designer Kyle Powell, “Our goal when designing Team Deathmatch was to create a combat-centric experience where players can show off their creativity and mechanical skills. This mode allows players to compete with fewer restrictions in an environment that rewards daring plays and quick reflexes”

When is Team Deathmatch coming to Valorant?

Valorant’s new TDM game mode will arrive on June 27 as part of Patch 7.0.
