Bai “rOtK” Fan resigns as Team Aster head coach after DreamLeague season 20 team’s dismal performance

During a live broadcast, Bai “rOtK” Fan announced his departure from Team Aster. The 31-year-old has been working as a coach for the popular DPC China Division I team since November 2022. The decision comes at a difficult time for Aster, as they face the possibility of relegation in Dream League Season 20. The organization, however, has not yet commented on development. Therefore, it is still not clear whether rOtK will leave the team immediately or will stay until the remainder of the competition.

rOtK said that all ASTER players think SumaiL is a very strong player. The reason he left ASTER was because he wasn’t good enough to coach them even if he thought he had already tried his best and also did a decent job there since he had the approval of all the players.

Despite their recent achievements and the addition of popular player Samil “Samil” Hassan to bolster their squad, Team Aster, known for their dominance in Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) China 2023 Round 3: Division 1, are currently facing challenges in Group Stage 2 of Dreamleague Season 20.

Team Aster’s position is hanging by a thread in Group 2, with a no win streak and three losses against 9Pandas, Talon Esports and BetBoom Esports. Ranked eighth, the team faces an uphill battle as only the top four teams secure playoff berths.

Aster has yet to play Evil Geniuses, Team Spirit, Gaimin Gladiators, and their rival DPC China PSG.LGD in the competition. Wins in these matches could propel them into the play-offs, so the 2022 International semi-finalists will be sure to get back to their winning ways.
