Rogue City Playtest takes place next week

Developer Teyon and publisher Nacon just announced that RoboCop: Rogue City will receive closed testing next week, with the goal of receiving feedback from select players to get a general idea of ​​the state of the project and how players perceive it. We remind you that the game will be released in September on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S, even if we don’t have an exact release date yet.

RoboCop: Rogue City will have an origin story between RoboCop 2 and RoboCop 3, and at least for now, it looks destined to be a mix between a first-person shooter and an online investigative adventure. Players will be pushed into the rainy streets of Detroit to solve crimes and kill enemies. This is what Taeyeon said:

“Explore open areas and complete your objectives according to your sense of justice. Finding evidence, interrogating and maintaining public order are just some of your daily tasks as a police officer. But don’t take decisions lightly: your choices can determine the fate of citizens and the outcome of your mission.”

Furthermore, it has also stated that the game “has now reached the point of development where we are looking for feedback from players to help us improve the game experience we want to deliver.” For this reason, the developers decided to hold a closed playtest from July 3 to 9.

If you are interested in participating in a RoboCop test run, you can register directly at this site, provided you meet the criteria suggested by Teyon: be at least 18 years old, have a computer that meets the minimum requirements, have Steam and Discord accounts and can speak English to be able to deliver comments, in addition to having to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement. . Obviously, not all subscribers will be sure to take part in the test run, as the developers themselves assure.
