Marriott acquires the City Express family of hotels. – Wonderful neck adventures

Marriott International is one of, if not the largest, hotel company in the world with more brands, hotels and opportunities, and has a proven track record of growing regional brands by leveraging its global development engine as well as its comprehensive programs and revenue systems, such as the Marriott Bonvoy loyalty, including Marriott.com and the mobile app. Award-winning Marriott Bonvoy® loyalty platform and innovative digital travel programs including Marriott.com and the Marriott Bonvoy mobile app. In addition, the company has just received approval to purchase the City Express brand portfolio from Hotels City Express, the largest hotel company in the Caribbean and Latin America, expanding its presence to more than 480 properties and 37 countries.

This purchase now places the hotel in the affordable mid-range hotel category and is expected for completion in the second quarter of 2023. Once complete, the hotel will acquire the City Express Suites, City Express Junior and City Centro hotels. This hotel giant is excited to enter the mid-range segment and give customers more choice in destinations for both business and leisure stays which will make them the largest hotel company in the Caribbean and Latin America.
