Jame signs Virtus.pro contract extension

Dzhami “Jame” Ali has signed an extension with Virtus.pro which will keep him at the club for another four years.

Virtus.pro has officially confirmed the contract extension for Dzhami “Jame” Ali, who will continue to serve as the team captain and in-game captain for another four years. Having earned recognition for his exceptional performances with AVANGAR, including reaching the Grand Final of the StarLadder Berlin Major and emerging victorious at BLAST Pro Series Moscow, the 24-year-old signed with the organization in December 2019 and is now committed to an extended contract.

“Jim is an exceptional player. Virtus.pro CEO Nikolay Petrosian explained why the organization convinced the AWPer to commit his future long-term to the club.

“He is the backbone of our roster, so renewing his contract was one of the most important tasks related to the CS:GO roster. I am sure that my reward will lead our club to more victories!”

Jame’s career was marked by the major MVP medal, obtained during the IEM Rio Major, which saw him and his teammates triumph under the Outsiders banner. This memorable victory took place amidst organizational changes caused by the Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022, which led to the team moving to Armenia.

“I’ve been with Virtus.pro for a very long time, and the club has become a second home for me, so the decision to extend the contract was a very simple one,” Jam said after signing the extension.

“We have a great mutual understanding with the players, the coaching staff and the management, we all want wins and we are ready to work hard for it. I am happy to spend many more years with the Bears!”
