How to unlock Final Fantasy 16 Final Fantasy mode

Final Fantasy difficulty will only be available in Final Fantasy 16 after you have completed the game at least once in Story Focused or Action Focused Difficulty.

After completing the main task, you will be able to create a save file scan and start a new game + save file for whatever difficulty you want. This will also unlock Final Fantasy Difficulty which will only be available from a cleared save file.

What is Final Fantasy mode?

If you’re familiar with Devil May Cry’s various difficulty options, Final Fantasy Mode is more like that than your traditional optional modes.

In stages, Final Fantasy 16 placements equivalent to enemy placements in dungeons are completely reworked, and some mini-bosses even come with new flavors. The level cap has also been increased from level 50 all the way to level 100 and you will be able to upgrade and craft new pieces of equipment as the game progresses.

It should also be noted that enemies will start at level 50 this time. They have more health, deal more damage and act more aggressively, and some early encounters with mini-bosses will use abilities originally only seen in the later parts of the game’s campaign.

And if you start on New Game+, the game will carry over most of your progress including your inventory, equipment, current level, AP points, and Eikon abilities. In addition, you will be able to craft Ultima, the most powerful weapon in the game, at the end of the second round.

But before you get started on New Game+, make sure you’ve collected all the accessories on the other difficulty modes. Since it’s exclusive to Final Fantasy Mode, you can combine two accessories that relate to your Eikon’s abilities and combine effects. That is, you can significantly reduce cooldowns or increase the number of damage.

Final Fantasy Mode will also allow you to access Ultimaniac Mode in the Arcade Mode section of the Arete Stone, which is a more difficult version of the various stages of Final Fantasy 16.

You also need to complete the Final Fantasy Mode story at least once in order to get the Platinum Trophy of Final Fantasy 16, it’s also the easiest way to gain more access points for the “Master Class” award that requires you to master all of Eikon’s abilities.

Final fantasy setting tips

Here are some general tips that will help you survive Final Fantasy mode.

Just like the normal game, always keep in mind your equipment and try to upgrade and update it in Hideaway as much as possible. Most regular equipment will now have additional upgrade options.

Stun lock is much more threatening this time, you can easily die when you are trapped in a boss group. Using Limit Break allows you to escape from one of the Touch of Death combos, so always be aware of its defensive ability and use it like that instead.

Since you’ll be able to combine accessories with each other to stack their effects, having the right layout for the right encounter can make combat a lot easier. The game will benefit greatly from the fact that you have access to all of your Eikon’s abilities.
