Electronic Arts unveils new Studio Cliffhanger games

publisher Electronic Arts Today she revealed her new studio Cliffhanger Gameswhich is currently working on a Black Panther Title.

Developed by Electronic Arts in collaboration with Marvel Games, the upcoming superhero project is a third-person single-player experience that aims to deliver “An expansive and interactive world that enables players to experience what it’s like to take on the mantle of Wakanda’s protector, the Black Panther.”

Cliffhanger Games is based in Seattle and is led by Kevin Stephens, who previously worked at WB Games and Monolith Productions.

The team behind Electronic Arts’ upcoming Black Panther game is made up of veterans who have contributed to major franchises like Halo Infinite, God of War, and Call of Duty.

“We’re committed to bringing fans a defining and authentic Black Panther experience, giving them more agency and control over their own narrative than they would have experienced in a story-driven video game,” Stephens He said.

“Wakanda is a rich SuperHero sandbox, and our mission is to develop an epic universe for players who love Black Panther and want to explore the world of Wakanda as much as we do.”

The title is built around an original story and aims to create two players “Feel what it’s like to be worthy of the mantle of the Black Panther in unique, story-driven ways.”

This marks another significant moment in Electronic Arts’ push to add superhero games to its portfolio. In late 2022, he revealed that Motive Studio had begun work on an Iron Man game.
