“Delete” explained: Is deletion permanent?

Even after so many twists and turns throughout the story, this latest Thai Netflix series still manages to leave some unexpected questions at the end.

wipe up Captures the secret relationship of two central characters in the series – Aim (Nat Kitcharet) and Lily (Sarica sartsylpsoba) – who just returned from vacation together. Aim is a popular media broadcaster and journalist who became famous after he published his autobiography which depicted his story of being alone in the jungle. Similarly, Lily is also a popular character, besides being the wife of Too Wongroongroj (Natara Noparatayaapon), scion of a powerful business family. Target and Lily find refuge in each other as an escape from their unhappy relationships.

The honeymoon period of Aim and Lilly’s relationship comes to an end when Aim’s girlfriend Orn (Chutimon Chuengcharoensukying) grows suspicious of the target. When she puts hidden cameras in the apartment, she finds out about Em and Lily’s affair. Orn, though saddened by the affair, asks Aim to end the relationship and also blackmails him by threatening to expose him for the fake story he created for his novel, which eventually catapulted to popularity. However, luck ends up favoring Aim when he gets his hand on a mysterious camera phone that erases the person it’s capturing from existence. The phone is given to Aim by Lilly, who comes to possess the camera when a little girl asks her to take a picture of her at the supermarket. When Lily took the photo, the girl ended up disappearing, and Lily provided the real power of the camera. In the end, Orn is removed from the equation by Aim, who uses the phone to his advantage.

With Orn out of the picture, Lilly also discovers that she is pregnant with Aim’s child, though she is hiding it from Aim for the time being. Fearing that her husband may have found out about her affair with Aim, Lilly tries to delete Too using the camera, but her attempt is ruined as a result of a surprise birthday party thrown by Too. Later at night, Too confronts Lilly about her affair, and Lilly admits that she is involved with Aim. However, she also shows forgiveness and agrees to kiss moments before Lily reveals her pregnancy.

The next day, Lily’s disappearance made it to the news. Suspicious of Aim’s involvement in Lilly’s disappearance, Too invites Aim to his farm for a story about his family and his father’s legacy. Hoping to learn more about Lilly, Aim accepts the offer and arrives at the farm the next day. While touring the farm, Too tells Aim about Lilly’s affair, only to eventually confront Aim about his relationship with Lilly.

Point and hold both of you responsible for Lilly’s disappearance

A conflict breaks out between Aim and Too who ask each other about Lily’s disappearance. When Aim realizes that Too is unaware of the mysterious phone Lilly has, he runs for his life and manages to escape the property. Aim finds himself in the middle of a lie when Nicha (Patarasudha Anumanragadon), the nurse who took care of Oren’s sick mother (Shindrath Kasuya), visits him to get information about Orn. Nicha becomes suspicious of Aim when he tells her that Orn has gone to China for a personal party.

Meanwhile, a picture of Im kissing Lily is leaked in the media. The investigation behind Lilly’s disappearance progresses as Captain Yothachai (Nochai Gyanama), who is also looking into other recent disappearances including that of a little girl that Lilly deleted at the supermarket, Too and Aim wonder about Lilly. While Too refuses to be aware of Lilly’s affair before the photo was leaked, Aim tells Yutthachai that he broke up with Lilly because she was afraid of Too’s reaction. When questioned about Orn, Aim reiterates that Orn also moved on after discovering his affair.

Unfortunately for Aim, he is pushed into a corner when Nicha approaches Yuttchachai with her suspicions about Aim, forcing the police officer to look into Orn’s disappearance. Even with evidence pointing to Aim, Yuttchachai feels compelled to give up Aim. However, before doing so, he reveals to Aim the details of a case where the people around the girl suddenly began to disappear until one day the girl herself disappeared.

The mystery behind Lily’s disappearance finally comes to light when it implicates Tu’s sister, June (Charlette Wasita Hermino), has been shown. It turns out that June once loved Lily but her love quickly turned to hate when she found out that Lily didn’t feel the same. Coincidentally, she gets her hands on the camera in Lily’s possession on the night of the Christmas party and discovers its abilities. With the camera in her possession, June also considered erasing Lily from existence. Meanwhile, Aim begins to suspect Jun of involvement when he discovers that a girl from Jun’s school has gone missing.

Despite the impression that Jun may have deleted Lily, Jun maintains that she did not make Lily disappear when Tong (Gunai Jingit Watanasin), a friend of June’s who witnessed June delete a classmate of theirs, confronted June over the act. Trusting him, Jun hands the camera over to Tong as he convinces Jun that deleting people is like killing them. Tung himself was suffering after the mysterious disappearance of his sister, Thong.

The truth behind Lily’s disappearance is finally revealed

However, Jun finds herself in trouble when a mysterious man blackmails her with the truth about her classmate’s disappearance. She goes to meet the blackmailer with her friend Tong, but the situation gets out of hand and the man ends up deleting Jun. Tong is saved when Aim appears on the scene, forcing the man to escape with the camera. When Jun’s classmate reappears after her disappearance, Tong and Im discover that when the person who deleted someone else is deleted, the deleted person returns. Tong’s revelation that a hearing aid fell out of the blackmailer’s ear during the scuffle helps him realize that Captain Yuthachai was the man who deleted Jun.

On the other hand, Too is also attacked by a mysterious man looking for the camera. When he woke up in the morning from unconsciousness, he found a locket that belonged to a girl named Araya. When searching for Araya, he also discovers that the girl was also attached to the camera at some point in time. He also tells Araya’s friend that Araya’s father may have been involved in Tou’s wife’s disappearance because he came to her for information about the camera as well. When he also saw a photo of Araya’s father, he was shocked to discover that Araya was Yuthachai’s daughter.

As Yothachai’s role in Lily’s disappearance becomes clear, the truth reveals itself. It turns out that on the night of Lily’s birthday, she left the house to meet Im but ended up being intercepted and kidnapped by Yothachai. In the families of the police officer and his wife, Lilly finds out from Yothachai’s wife (Duangai Hiransri) that the girl Lily removed from the supermarket was their daughter. The parents discovered Araya’s use of the camera when patients began to disappear from the hospital where Araya’s mother worked. Later, Araya blames herself and leaves her house. On the same day, she wandered into a nearby supermarket where she met Lily and asked her to catch her on camera. When Yuttchachai sees the CCTV footage in the supermarket, he finds out what happened to his daughter. When he finds out that Araya’s disappearance has resulted in all the patients in the hospital showing up, Yothachai knows he will have to delete Lily to bring Araya back. As a result, his search for Lily leads to Lily being kidnapped.

Why did Yothachai kidnap Lilly?

Unfortunately for Yothachai, Lilly managed to escape by the time he arrived with the camera though he quickly tracked it to the nearest supermarket. She also sets out to rescue Lily when she calls him for help. However, Yuttchachai manages to succeed in his endeavors as he deletes Lilly and brings his daughter back. Knowing that he will have to take care of Too, Yutthachai decides to delete Too, but before he can look for Too down, the latter reaches Yutthachai’s house. In the ensuing scuffle, Too finds out why Yutthachai kidnapped Lilly and decides to delete Yutthachai using the phone. Yuttchachai makes a final attempt to save himself, but his attempts are thwarted by Aim who arrives to save Too. Finally, Too Lilly deletes Yuttchachai.

After deleting Yuttchachai, Too returns to his home and deletes Araya’s mother while Araya manages to escape. On the other hand, Aim finds Lilly at the supermarket, only to realize that she has decided to choose Too over him. It turns out that even after her pregnancy was discovered, she also offered to raise the child together. Lily decides to hide the true identity of the father of her child and tells Em that Tu is the father of the child, leaving Em heartbroken. The next day, Tu wakes up to find out that Lily’s return has hit the news.

On the other side, Lilly takes the phone from Too hoping to destroy the phone forever. Before continuing, she approaches Aim one last time proposing a plan to help bring Orn back. When Aim rejects the idea, Lilly disposes of the phone in a nearby lake, though the phone is later retrieved by Too to help Aim return Orn at Aim’s request. After making a final confession in front of the world on social media about the fake story he used in his novel to promote himself, Aim decides to delete himself with Too’s help. As Lily rushes to Aim’s apartment to find him, she only finds Orn there and realizes that Aim has been deleted.

What happens at the end of “delete”?

At Toe’s farm, Lily arrives in search of her husband to hold him responsible for what he did to a goal. However, she finds herself drawn into a different mystery when she notices flies being attracted to one of the barn’s stables. Upon investigating further, she finds a secret cellar under the barn. Downstairs, she finds rows of logs filled with decomposing human bodies. Shocked by her wit, just as Lily was on her way to flee, she also reached the stable to use the camera and dispose of the rotting corpses. It is suggested that Tu’s father took advantage of the young women and hid their dead bodies in the cellar. Earlier, it was also shown that the memory of a woman’s body floating in the nearby lake is still haunting her as well.

Another revelation appears in the final moments as Tong’s sister, who has been missing for days, is seen in one of the boxes. Hiding inside the trunk of a car, Lily witnesses her loving husband perform a heinous act as she fears his involvement in the deaths of both women. Just when Too is about to leave after deleting all the women’s bodies, Lilly offers up her location. At the end of wipe up, Lilly’s fate is still undecided as it is very likely that he will find Lilly hidden inside the trunk of the car. It is also suggested that Jun appears to have discovered her family’s involvement in the disappearance of Tung’s sister. in the last moments, wipe up It sets the perfect ground for an even more exciting Season 2.
