Baldur’s Gate 3 Arcane Tower – How to play

The Feather Fall spell makes it easy to reach the bottom of the Arcane Tower in Baldur Gate 3 without taking damage.

However, if you don’t have access to it, it’s a good idea to use the party member with the most health pool, as it will deal damage when landing.

The door to the Arcane Tower will be locked at Baldur Gate 3. Don’t worry if your character isn’t great at picking locks. Hitting it with your weapon works too.

However, before heading inside, look behind you for the blue tree with the Saussurea Bloom on the ground.

This turn is necessary, as Venus is required to power the Arcane Tower Generator. Pick it up, then head inside. Circle the room until you reach the interactable part of the power generator.

Add Sussur Bloom to the empty slot in the interface, press Merge and wait a few seconds. You will end up getting a cutscene showing the effects of your actions, after which the Arcane Tower elevator will become usable.

The two buttons located near the elevator entrance will help you either go up or down the Arcane Tower, making exploration considerably easier.
