An epic adventure awaits at SHOWBOAT HOTEL in Atlantic City – Neckies Great Adventures

If you haven’t heard yet, the most talked about epic adventure is coming soon. A huge indoor/outdoor water park is coming to the Showboat Hotel in Atlantic City. I know I’ve only talked about this since last year, even before the groundbreaking ceremony. It’s countdown time. It will be the largest water park, even more significant than the Great Wolf Lodge. I’ve never been there but I have friends who have taken their kids and they said it was very nice. With locations in several states, it’s a top-rated year-round destination for families. It is indoors, so even during the winter season, you can still enjoy this amazing water park. You might think – that’s nice, but water parks are for families with kids. What makes this water park so unique? As one of the largest hotels, Showboat Hotel will host this great event.

The former casino reopened as a non-casino hotel after closing its doors in 2014. Over the years, the casino has transformed and now has a wide variety of activities for everyone. As Lucky Snake (check my blog on opening of this epic arcade) is the largest arcade on the East Coast, a helmeted Go-kart track featuring a photo camera, mini golf, bowling, sports bar, and many more; And soon it will be home to the Island Water Park.

It will have a retractable glass roof, shopping malls, swimming pools, lazy rivers, water slides, and restaurants.

“A unique resort in Atlantic City, this year-round family resort will be a first for this city since its existence. Other planned activities include zip lines, gravity rides, and a boardwalk with typical arcade games. But, perhaps the area for adults is more than expected in this water park, measuring in at 10,000 square feet. Who said water parks are only for kids?

With the water park scheduled to open in the summer of 2023, the vibe of Atlantic City, and especially the Showboat Hotel, is a sense of anticipation, excitement, and hope, something residents haven’t felt in a long time. After all, with the closure of important casinos, most people wiped Atlantic City off the map; Nine casinos are closing, how can this city survive? After all, casinos have been popping up from New York to Maryland and up and down the East Coast. Three casinos have opened within a radius of less than 50 miles in Maryland alone.

All over town, ISLAND Waterpark posters are hung in windows and casinos. As we get closer to opening, this epic adventure will only generate excitement, something you haven’t seen in a long time. But the water park is just the beginning of things to come. An Atlantic City adventure is here to stay.
