FIFA 23 fans have been busy with the Team of the Season (TOTS) promotions but it looks like the Shapeshifters event is going to be even bigger. Shapeshifters first appeared in FIFA Ultimate Team 2020 and it looks like they’ll be back this year. Here’s a quick rundown of everything you need to know about the FIFA 23 Shapeshifters promo.

FIFA 23 Shapeshifters Trailer: What to expect

From what has been teased so far, we know what the Shapeshifters card designs will look like. There will be an Icon Card up for grabs as well as an alternate reality Icon item that has been doing the rounds in the FIFA 23 leak communities for a while.

From what we’ve seen in previous Shapeshifters events, we’ve seen players move into positions where they normally play. We know of two cards so far, and we can expect more information about the other upcoming cards as we get closer to the release date.

The biggest changes you can expect in terms of stats are changes to weak foot ability, work rates, player positions and more. You can also expect base stats to be tweaked to align with players’ Shapeshifters positions.

According to the given information, there are distinct versions of these cards available in the game as well but we have no official information regarding them yet.
